IBC Bank Donates Shoes to Students at Positive Tomorrows
Spreading extra holiday cheer, IBC Bank-Oklahoma and Oklahoma City Thunder’s star, Victor Oladipo, teamed up to donate 100 pairs of new shoes to the students at Positive Tomorrows, Oklahoma City’s only school specifically serving homeless children.
The state of Oklahoma has nearly 8,000 homeless students grades K-12. The Positive Tomorrows organization works diligently to aid in removing the unique barriers in a homeless child’s life to make learning possible.
“As part of our “We Do More” philosophy, IBC-Oklahoma is committed to ensuring the success of all members of the communities we serve,” said IBC Bank-Oklahoma President and CEO Bill Schonacher. “Positive Tomorrows does an incredible job of providing access to education for the city’s homeless children. This gift is our way of providing further encouragement to their students.”
Oladipo joined the Oklahoma City Thunder this year and is already making a positive impact in Oklahoma City through his philanthropic endeavors.
“The Oklahoma City community has embraced me with open arms,” said Oladipo. “I’m extremely fortunate to be in a position that allows me to give back to the community. I want to thank Positive Tomorrows and IBC Bank for all they do to help our city’s youth.”
