IBC Bank - McAllen Announces Promotions

McAllen, Texas (June 25, 2021) - IBC Bank-McAllen recently announced the promotions of key employees in various departments within the financial institution.  The local promotions are part of a corporate wide recognition of personnel elevated within their areas of expertise.

"Our officers continue to break boundaries and tirelessly carry out our ‘We Do More' philosophy," said IBC Bank Chairman and CEO Adrian Villarreal. "Their recent promotions merit praise for their dedication and commitment to IBC's customers and our community." 

Janet Gonzalez was promoted to Vice President and Area Sales Manager in the Retail Banking Department. Gonzalez received her a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Universidad Autonoma De Nuevo León.  She has been with IBC Bank since 2005. Her community involvement includes serving as Treasurer of Women Together of South Texas and as a member of Mujeres Arriba Valle de Texas. 

Maria Consuelo Ibarra was promoted to Commercial Bank Officer in the Commercial Lending Department.  Ibarra has been with IBC Bank since April of 2012. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas-Pan American.  Her community involvement includes service at the United Way of South Texas as part of the Fund Distribution Audit Committee.

David E. Sandoval Jr. was promoted to Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Lending Department. Sandoval has been with IBC Bank for 14 years since September 2007. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas-Pan American. His community involvement includes service at the United Way of South Texas as part of the Fund Distribution Audit Committee.

Blanca Idalia Villalobos was promoted to First Vice President in the Commercial Lending Department. Villalobos has been with IBC Bank since 2005. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas-Pan American.  Her community involvement includes service as Finance Co-Chair at the United Way of South Texas.
