AEP Texas Awards IBC Bank with 2022 Rising Star Award
IBC Bank has received a 2022 Rising Star Award from AEP Texas, a unit of American Electric Power that delivers electricity to over one million homes, businesses and industries in South and West Texas.
The Rising Star Award acknowledges customers that identify and implement impactful energy-efficient opportunities such as making facility improvements and using energy-efficient products.
The sustainability steps that IBC Bank has taken [within the last year and which they will continue to pursue in the future] led to energy savings of 226 kilowatts and 1,252,687 kilowatt-hours. This impact is the equivalent of removing 189 cars from the road or recycling 311 tons of waste.
