(FEB. 13, 2019) BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS - Susan Wisdom, Vice President for IBC Bank-Brownsville, will officially retire at the beginning of February. After working for more than 2 decades at IBC Bank, Wisdom says it is time to pass the torch.
"It has been an honor to be part of this great company over the last 20 plus years and I am extremely proud of the value we have created together for our customers," said Wisdom. "I want to take this opportunity to thank IBC Bank for the platform afforded to me and my team. It has been my privilege to work alongside such talented and dedicated people."

"Susan has played an integral part of the success of IBC Bank-Brownsville, and we are appreciative for her many years of service to the bank, Cameron County and the Rio Grande Valley," said Al Villarreal, IBC Bank-Brownsville president & CEO. "While we will certainly miss Susan, she helped build a team that is well prepared to continue moving IBC Bank-Brownsville forward in the future."

With more than 40 years of banking experience, Wisdom has proudly spent those years giving back to the community in the spirit of IBC Bank's credo "We Do More", serving on boards for the Salvation Army and Loaves & Fishes.
In addition, she is a certified anti-money laundering specialist and a member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), a worldwide organization committed to advancing financial crime professionals.
