AUSTIN, TEXAS (OCT. 1, 2019) - IBC Bank-Austin partnered with Blue Lapis Light for a one of a kind "In Light" performance at the IBC Bank Plaza in Downtown Austin last month. This is the second time IBC Bank and Blue Lapis have joined forces to provide the Austin community with such a unique show.
"At IBC Bank, we foster a culture of community involvement and have a genuine desire to actively ‘Do More' in the communities we serve," said IBC Bank-Austin president & CEO Bob Barnes. "It is an honor to support and partner with Blue Lapis Light once again. By making the arts available to all, communities become healthier and stronger."
Blue Lapis Light is an aerial dance company that seeks to transform urban environments - such as the IBC Bank Plaza - into inspired works of arts, creating a beauty that transcends space in its expansion, connecting us with a sense of wonder, possibility and hope.
"We are profoundly grateful to the team at IBC Bank for graciously allowing us to dance on their building again," Sally Jacques, Blue Lapis Light Artistic Director said. "Their belief and trust in our unique art form is truly amazing. Words cannot express how deeply touched we are by their generosity and support."
