IBC Bank-Laredo Makes Generous United Way Donation

IBC Bank and Commerce Bank, together with employees across Texas and Oklahoma, donated over $370,000 to United Way in 2016 comprised of funds donated by employees and matched by IBC Bank and Commerce Bank. The donation will fund much-needed social services throughout the 88 communities the banks serve. Locally, IBC Bank-Laredo and Commerce Bank donated $137,000 that will directly fund area United Way projects.

I couldn't be more proud of how our employees dedicate their time and money to helping build strong communities, it is not only the money but more importantly, the volunteers and the hours they spend making life better. "
 
More than 70 United Way agencies throughout Texas and Oklahoma such as the American Heart Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs and the Arthritis Foundation will use the funds to provide meals, counseling, safe recreational activities, shelter, services and more to those who might otherwise go without these essential services.
