IBC Bank is proud to once again be a sponsor of the Washington Birthday Celebration Association's 21st Annual Youth Parade Under the Stars. This year's parade theme is "Embracing Traditions" and the IBC float will recognize the efforts of various non-profit organizations that have greatly improved the quality of life in Laredo. The float will also feature IBC employees of the month and the Border Patrol's 2016 Youth of the Year, a program which IBC Bank has sponsored for the past 25 years.

Non-profit organizations that will be featured on the float include the following:

More than 550 IBC Bank-Laredo employees work to enrich their community by serving and leading non-profit organizations, sitting on boards and participating in fundraisers benefiting everything from veterans to those with special needs. Doing more in Laredo is second nature for IBC Bank employees. IBC bank officer, David Ramos, was appointed to serve as the new WBCA board president for 2017-2018.

"Just as IBC Does More to serve our community, WBCA has done so for the past 120 years. At IBC Bank we are proud to embrace traditions and continue to support local organizations who do so much to advance Laredo and its residents," said IBC Bank Laredo President Imelda Navarro.

The Laredo community has joined together since 1897 to celebrate our nation's first president, George Washington. The month of February is filled with several community events, such as parades, a carnival, airshow, fireworks, concerts and festivals within a festival.
